Two of three lanes open on I-75 North after semi rollover

UPDATE: As of 6:48 a.m., the Transportation Cabinet says the center and fast lanes of I-75 North are back open. The right lane remains closed.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) — Scott County Emergency Management officials say they responded at 5:00 a.m this morning about a semi-truck crash on I-75 North near mile marker 125 in Scott County.

According to Scott County Emergency Management, a witness says the man that was driving the semi was having trouble maintaining the lane, edged over, and struck the center median causing the semi to tip over.

They say the driver of the semi-truck made it out okay, and didn’t suffer any injuries.

Officials say they’re working to clean up the leftover debris, and will push the load over soon to open the lanes back up on I-75 North.

As of 6:45 a.m., crews were working on opening up one northbound lane, but they say debris spread all across the roadway is making it difficult.
