I-64 crash sends three people to hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A crash that sent three people to the hospital happened on Saturday afternoon in the east bound lanes of interstate 64.

According to Lexington police, a pickup truck flipped over by mile marker 87 near the Bluegrass Station exit.

The car rolled into a wooded area that’s hard to see from the road, but police say one person saw the car and called them immediately.

Police confirm there were two adults and one child in the car.

All three people were taken to the hospital and one of the adults is facing life threatening injuries.

Police say speed could be a factor and they are investigating.
