$5,000 reward offered for info on Rush bank robbery

RUSH, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a robbery of the First National Bank on US Highway 60 in Rush.

Officers say around 2:15 pm on Friday August 7, an unidentified person with a gun entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller. Officers say the robber was wearing a black mask, black long sleeve shirt/jacket, black pants, black gloves and black shoes and was carrying a large black backpack. The suspect then ran off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Now, First National Bank is offering a $5000.00 reward to anyone with information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible.  They have released two photographs of the person, captured on security cameras.
