$500 reward offered in London sign vandalism
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) — London Laurel Co. Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in the case of several “Vote Yes for London” signs that have been removed from a private property.
“Vote Yes for London” is a committee that is bolstering support for a vote on alcohol sales in London coming up on January 26.
According to police, the signs were reported missing on Tuesday around 9:15 a.m. Officers say 12 signs had been taken. On Wednesday, police say the “Vote Yes for London” chairperson reported that 8 of the signs had been found on Sam Black Road, some of them damaged.
The “Vote Yes for London” committee is trying to find any video from where the signs were stolen.
