5 year sentence for Shepherdsville man accused of seeking sex with minor
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Shepherdsville man has pleaded guilty to seeking sex with a minor and will receive five years in prison.
Martin Eugene Klemens, 58, of Shepherdsville, pleaded guilty in Franklin Circuit Court last week to a federal charge of using electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities.
Klemens, who was arrested in 2015, is scheduled to be sentenced June 2.
As part of his plea, Klemens will participate in a certified sex offender pre-sentencing program, will be ineligible for parole and must register as a sex offender upon completion of his sentence.
