5 people hurt after multi-car crash in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police say five people were injured in a two-car crash at Tates Creek Road and Lansdowne Drive early Friday morning.

Police say the crash happened just before 3 a.m. They say five people were taken to the hospital, and two of the five have life-threatening injuries.

According to Lexington Police, one of the drivers is in custody.

Officials say the road will be blocked for several hours.
