5 Charged with Cooking Meth in Richmond Motel

Richmond officers made five arrests stemming from a report they received about meth being made at a local motel.

They said they arrived at the Belair Motel on Lexington Road at 12:40 early Wednesday morning, where several meth labs were reportedly being used in plain sight.

Police said one of the five arrested had rented three rooms, with the labs all being housed in one of them.

44-year-old Anthony Debord, 33-year-old Carolyn Eckler and 30-year-old Bobbi Evans were charged with manufacturing meth.

24-year-old Douglas Pearson and 21-year-old Amber Dean were both charged with complicity to manufacturing meth.

All five suspects were lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
