5 Arrested in Berea Drug Bust

Officers in Berea said when they executed a search warrant at a home on Valley Street, they found several jars and plastic bags holding marijuana.

The also reported finding what could have been LSD and Black Tar Heroin.

Scales, boxes of clear plastic baggies and just over $3,200 in cash were among the other items discovered in the home, according to police.

18-year-old Kelsey Huff, 18-year-old Emily Sprouse, 19-year-old Michael Mellon, 19-year-old George Pate, and 29-year-old Bradley Niederriter — all of Berea — were arrested on Thursday.

They were all charged with trafficking over eight ounces of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
