3 week search for man accused of burglary ends in arrest in Knox Co.

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A three week search for an accused burglar in Knox County has ended.

Sheriff’s deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Brandon Mills at his house Thursday, October 11.

Deputies say they investigated a burglary at a home on September 21 where they believe Mills had stolen gasoline from a Salt Gum Church bus. Items from the burglary and a small bag of suspected meth were also found in the van. The van had been seen driving at the intersection of Cole Branch and HWY 223, but they were unable to locate the suspect.

Deputies say the church van was reported stolen a week later and found behind Mills’ house.

Mills faces several burglary, theft and drug charges.
