3 people treated for hypothermia in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department says it sent three people to the hospital on Friday suffering from hypothermia. The three were found on Pine Street around 1:30 p.m., according to the fire department.

It’s not clear if the three were homeless, but the fire department says one of them had been there overnight.

Friday’s weather was marked by high winds, snow flurries and wind chills in the low 20’s.
