21st annual L&N Day offers family fun, food trucks, music
BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – The 21st annual L&N Day arrives Saturday in Berea.
There’s something for everyone with train memorabilia galore, food trucks, free activities for kids and live music.
Built in 1917, this historic depot, now home to the Berea Welcome Center, will be filled with memorabilia for show and sale, with exhibitors from three states, working model trains, games and activities for children and family photo opportunities.
Visitors can collect a commemorative ticket and watch freight trains cruise by just a few feet from the platform.
Food trucks will include Ms. D’s Country Cooking, Chuck Wagon, Drea’s Bucket, Don Maria’s Tomales, and Poppy’s Ice Cream Truck, and will be set up at various times. Live music from Donna and Lewis Lamb and friends will begin at 11 a.m.
Located in the heart of the Old Town Artisan Village, 3 Artist Circle, Berea, the event is free to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
