Kentucky gubernatorial candidates agree to five televised debates

The rivals will square off at Thursday’s event in Paducah, where they’ll take questions from a media panel.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Democratic candidate for governor Andy Beshear and Republican incumbent Matt Bevin have agreed to five televised debates this fall.

All are scheduled the month before the general election.

Here is a list of where and when the debates will take place:

-October 3rd- Paducah

-October 15th- Lexington

-October 26th- Louisville

-October 28th- Lexington

-October 29th- Highland Heights

There will also be a televised debate for lieutenant governor candidates October 21st.
