Police began surveillance of the hotel on Saturday.

They say they arrested Greer without incident as he left the hotel.

According to KTRK in Houston, Greer shot 29-year-old Edna McWorter to death after a fight outside a bar in September 2018.

In addition to murder, Greer is also wanted for parole violation.
