Over $200K worth of stolen cars, equipment recovered in Cumberland Co.

BURKESVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say an Indianapolis man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of receiving stolen property.

Troopers say that the Cumberland Co. Sheriff’s Department recovered a stolen dump truck out of Indianapolis on Tuesday.  After investigating, 45-year-old Lanny D. Allen was identified as a suspect.  The Sheriff’s Department and KSP executed an arrest warrant on Allen on Tuesday, and he was arrested.

Police say a search after Allen’s arrest uncovered over $200,000 in stolen cars, farm equipment and other items.
