Woman accused of helping boyfriend burglarize employer’s home

LEXINGTON, KY – A woman is accused of helping her boyfriend burglarize the home of his former employer.

The homeowner told police he spotted two men inside an SUV that was parked near his home on Old Richmond Road back on October 5th.

The homeowner says he walked up to the SUV to confront them and recognized one of the men, Bobby Menville.

He says Menville did some landscaping work at his home.

According to court documents, Menville told the homeowner he was on his way home, ran out of gas, and parked near the home.

Around that time, the homeowner says 21-year-old Luna Kitchen came running down his driveway and jumped into the car.

The homeowner says when he walked back toward the house to get a gas can for them, they took off.

Once inside the house, court documents say he discovered the side basement window was broken out and a pistol, some ammunition and $2,000 in cash were stolen.

Police say fingerprints belonging to both Kitchen and Menville were found inside the home.

Kitchen is charged with burglary.
