Coroner: 76-year-old man killed in Old Richmond Rd. crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says a 76-year-old man is dead after a crash on Old Richmond Road in Lexington. He says the victim was William Hamilton of Lexington.

According to police, the collision happened around 2pm Friday between Athens-Boonesboro and Delong Roads. Police say Hamilton was driving a car around when it collided with a pickup truck.

Officers say Hamilton died at U.K. Hospital.  They say the pickup driver had non-life threatening injuries.

The crash shut down the road for more than four hours.
