Drug trafficking arrest in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) -Richmond police have made an arrest in connection to a drug trafficking investigation in early 2016.

Officers say Nancy G. Bristow, 45, sold heroin twice during a covert operation conducted by the Madison Co. Drug Task Force back in January.

On Tuesday, police arrested Bristow in the parking lot of the Countryside Inn on the Eastern Bypass in connection to those sales.  Officers say a search of her purse uncovered 31 Gabapentin pills and a small amount of methamphetamine.

Bristow was arrested on trafficking and possession charges.

She was taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center.

Officers also say Bristow was out on bond in connection with a prior drug trafficking arrest.
