1 rescued after car becomes stuck in high water in Taylor County

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – High water trapped a driver trying to get across a flooded road in Taylor County.

Campbellsville Fire and Rescue were called to the Meadow Creek/Roachville Road area Tuesday for a report of a vehicle in the water.

When they arrived, crews say they found a car in the Green River about 150 feet from the shoreline.

One person was inside the car.

Crews were able to get to the car, get the person out and bring them to shore.

The person was not injured.

Crews rescue a driver who became trapped in high water in Campbellsville.
