1 injured after accident on I-75

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Traffic along southbound I-75 in Fayette Co. is still thinning out after a truck driver lost control of the vehicle.

Lexington police say the driver lost control after one of the truck’s tires blew out.  Investigators say the truck flipped three times.  The accident happened around the 114 mile marker just after 3:30 p.m.

Police say only one of the three people in the truck was hurt and that those injuries were minor.  The accident created a big traffic backup, but officials say the scene is now clear.
