UPDATE: Bourbon Co. shooting victims identified, ruled domestic violence murder

BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a domestic violence murder after one person was found dead, and another critically injured, at a home Tuesday morning.

Police say they were called to the home off Mount Carmel Road for a welfare check on Crystal Kelley, 46.

When they arrived, they found both Crystal Kelley and Michael Kelley, 50, lying on the floor inside the home. Both had gunshot wounds.

Crystal Kelley was pronounced dead on scene. Michael Kelley was taken to UK Hospital in critical condition.

Police say, through investigation, Michael Kelley is charged with Murder- Domestic Violence.

BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are conducting a death investigation after one person was found dead in a Bourbon County home Tuesday morning.

Police say they were called to the home off Mount Carmel Road near U.S. Highway 27 to assist the Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office.

They say one person was dead and another person was taken to the hospital.

Police say it’s early in the investigation and they do not have many details yet.

They do say they are not looking for a suspect in the case.

ABC36 has a crew at the scene and will have more details when they become available.
