Young children die in Owen County fire

OWEN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Troopers say two children died in a fire that consumed an Owenton mobile home, Saturday morning.

According to state police, the fire started around 9:45 a.m. at 900 Gaines Village. They say the children, ages two and four, passed away inside the mobile home. No criminal charges are pending right now and troopers say no foul play is suspected.

The fire is still under investigation.
