Wynyard dancing his way to success
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – UK’s Tai Wynyard is representing his home country, New Zealand, once again this summer in the FIBA Under-18 3-on-3 tournament.
As is the custom, he takes part in the native Hakka dance before every game. You can check it out, along with a few big highlights, in the video.
New Zealand took care of the Philippines and Spain. Wynyard went 11-of-15 from the field in a 21-12 win over the Philippines.
He scored 8 points in a 21-17 victory over Spain. Score is kept by one’s and two’s in the 3-on-3 tourney.
Wynyard was the MVP of the tournament in 2015.
