Worker dies outside of school in Jackson County

MCKEE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State police are investigating the death of a worker who was injured outside Jackson County Middle School in McKee. The worker, identified as 48-year-old James Anderson from Stanton, died after being injured while unloading storm drain tiles from a trailer.

According to investigators, Anderson fell and hit the ground during the unloading process. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

State police have stated that foul play is not suspected in this incident.
