Work to begin on Hal Rogers Parkway in Clay County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 4, on a stretch of the Hal Rogers Parkway in Clay County.
The state says lane and shoulder closures are scheduled to continue through October 31, 2018.
The project will begin just west of the Hal Rogers Parkway’s Manchester exit and end at the Clay-Leslie County line.
The work will consist of road ditching, guardrail improvements and asphalt resurfacing.
The speed limit will be reduced to 45 miles per hour within the project limits and a double fine work zone will be in effect where the work is actively being performed.
Motorists need to be aware of the work zone, reduce their speed and expect delays, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
