Woodford County seeing record involvement with summer reading program
VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – As society looks to go back to a sense of normalcy, Kentucky children are enjoying events such as summer reading programs.
One example can be found at the Woodford County Library. According to the children’s librarian, this year’s summer reading program has broken records with 136 people in attendance.
Woodford County is also one of the most highest vaccinated counties in the state, which could explain the record number of atendees.
WTVQ’s own Jason Lindsey, aka “Mr. Science,” visited the Woodford County Library July 1 to do some fun science experiments.
