Woodford County rest areas to temporarily close for repairs

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces the Woodford County rest areas will be closed temporarily. The closures are necessary for concrete repairs to be completed.

Friday, Oct. 16 through Monday, Oct. 19
7:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday

The Interstate 64 rest areas will be closed:

o eastbound at mile point 60.227
o westbound at mile point 60.719

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
