Woodford County Crash Kills Lexington Teen, Injures 3 Others
New information has been released in a crash that killed one Lexington teen and injured three others.
Versailles Police said the crash occurred on Dry Ridge Road in Woodford County around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday. They said the 17-year-old driver of the car lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. The 18-year-old passenger who was killed has been identified as Ambrielle Brown. Fayette County School officials said Brown was a former Dunbar High School student. Police said the other teens go to Dunbar High School and Lafayette High School. Police said a 17-year-old passenger was life-flighted to UK hospital with life threatening injuries. Another passenger, Sunday Moore, was released from the hospital Thursday.
Grief counselors were at Dunbar and Lafayette High Schools today to help students cope with the loss.
No funeral arrangements been announced for Ambrielle Brown.
