Women accused of shoplifting while children left in car
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two Knox County women are accused of shoplifting from a Dollar General while leaving children in a vehicle in the parking lot, according to police.
Investigators say 61-year old Glencina Wilson, of Flat Lick, was already banned from the store at the time of her arrest.
Police say 68-year old Wilma Emert, also of Flat Lick, was under the influence at the time of her arrest.
Investigators say the women left two small children in a vehicle in the parking lot that was left running with the doors unlocked.
The two women were arrested and taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
