Women accused of forging records of missing senior

MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) — Three employees at a senior housing facility are accused of falsifying records after a resident went missing.

The Paducah Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1zCxIyW) deputies responding to a missing person report from Fern Terrace Lodge were told that resident Dwain McGee had not been seen since about 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, an investigation revealed that McGee had actually not been seen since 10 a.m. on Wednesday. But records claimed he’d been checked on every 15 minutes continually until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Employees Heather Edmonson, Juannell Montesinos and Alexandra Rodriguez were charged with felony forgery and arrested.

McGee, who requires daily medication and monitoring, was found in Paducah by law enforcement around 7 p.m. Thursday. He was evaluated at a hospital and released.
