Woman Tracks Down Robbery Suspect Through Google
A Lexington woman tracked down the man she said robbed her at gunpoint during a party last month at a home on Rugby Road
Darius Franklin was arrested Friday and charged in connection to the robbery.
According to police, the woman said Franklin followed her to a back room where two children were sleeping.
She said he pulled out a gun, demanded money and left after getting it.
According to court documents, the victim told officers her step-father had heard from an acquaintance that the suspect’s name could be "Darius Franklin."
The victim then went on "Google" and said she found a picture of him online and told police.
Franklin was then arrested.
