Woman taken to hospital after crash in Metcalfe Co.

SUMMER SHADE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police say a woman was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on KY 90 in Metcalfe County.

Investigators say that just before 9 a.m., 26-year-old Sabrina Heaton was driving a 2013 Dodge on KY 90 when she lost control of the car and hit a guardrail. They say Heaton then crossed over the road, hitting an embankment and a tree.

KSP says Heaton was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They say Heaton was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
