Woman shot inside her Lexington apartment early Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a woman was shot while inside her Lexington apartment Friday morning, after multiple gunshots were fired.

Police responded to a shots fired call around 4 a.m. Friday morning on Appian Way.

They say multiple shots were fired into the apartment, one striking the woman.

Police are still looking for a suspect and a motivation behind the shooting.
