Woman rescued from water after kayak overturned

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A rescue team pulled a woman out of the water today in Warren County.

Rescuers say this afternoon they helped a kayaker who got caught in the current and overturned.

According to the sheriff’s office, the kayaker was wearing her life jacket.

Deputies say they encourage anyone planning to go out on the water this summer to be prepared with a life jacket for everyone on board.
