Woman Pistol-Whipped And Robbed
Police said a woman was pistol-whipped and robbed at her Lexington apartment Thursday.
The woman told police she invited an acquaintance to her apartment on W. Sixth Street at around 2 a.m.
She said he then pulled a gun, pointed it at her head and demanded money.
When she said she didn’t have any, that’s when she says he hit her in the head with the gun and took money from her pocket. He then ran off.
The woman was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
