Woman killed in Woodford County crash

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident in Woodford County, according to police.

The coroner identified the victim as 58-year old Teresa Lake.

Investigators say for some reason Lake’s vehicle left McCowans Ferry Road around 4:00 p.m. and crashed.

Lake was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
