Woman killed in Johnson County crash
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman was killed after a crash in Johnson County Monday afternoon, state police say.
According to state police, Susan Hensley, 43, of Inez, Ky., was driving south in the northbound lane of U.S. 23 in the Hager Hill community. Her vehicle hit the trailer tire of a semi-truck traveling in the other direction.
After her Hensley’s vehicle hit the semi, her vehicle went off the roadway and overturned multiple times over an embankment, state police say.
Hensley was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner. State Police say Hensley was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision and alcohol is a possible contributing factor.
The accident is under investigation.
