LCSO: Woman injured in Laurel Co. crash; swerved to avoid motorcycle

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-Deputies with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a woman suffered multiple injuries after swerving to avoid a motorcycle on US 25 near London Thursday afternoon.

Deputies say 73-year-old Anita Peters was driving northbound on US 25 around 4:30 p.m. when she swerved to avoid an oncoming motorcycle in her lane. Peters’ car flipped several times before coming to rest, on its top, in a ditch.

The sheriff’s office says Peters was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries. Her condition is unknown.
