Woman hit by car in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say a woman was injured after being hit by a car in Lexington Friday.

According to police, the woman was crossing the street on South Limestone just before 12:30 a.m. when she was hit.

The woman was taken to the hospital.

There is no word on her condition.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
