Woman held at gun point; purse stolen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police are investigating another purse snatching; they say is unrelated to the one in Hamburg.

Officers say around 10:15 Saturday night, near Belle’s Cocktail Lounge, a man stopped a woman walking north on Market Street, pointed a gun at her head, and demanded she hand over her purse.

Police say the purse did eventually turn up.

They’re still looking for the suspect, though.

Officers describe him as a thin man around 5’ 5” tall.
