Woman found passed out in car; search reveals drugs, paraphernalia
FLAT LICK, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Knox Co. Sheriff says that a Barbourville woman is behind bars after being found passed out in her car with drugs and paraphernalia.
According to the Sheriff, deputies received a report of a woman asleep at the wheel of a car parked on Warrior’s Path at about 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
Deputies say when they arrived, the 2010 Chevy car was still blocking the roadway, with 35-year-old Tiffany L. Cox slumped over the steering wheel.
Deputies say they were able to wake Cox up and get her out of the car, at which point they found 9 syringes, 2 bent spoons, 5 snorting straws, 3 Adipex pills, and a plastic baggie containing 2.1 grams of suspected crystal meth.

Cox was charged with possession, trafficking, and DUI.
She was taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
