Woman dies in single-car crash in Scott County

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A crash investigation is underway in Scott County where the sheriff says a woman died after crashing her vehicle off the interstate.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning on I-75. The sheriff says the woman was the only person in the vehicle when it left the roadway and hit a tree. Crews had to extricate the woman’s body from the car. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
