Woman died after her car went airborne and landed in a creek
ELKTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An elderly Elkton woman died in a violent car crash Thursday, according to State Police.
Investigators say 73-year old Helen Miller was driving east on US 68/80 when for some unknown reason her car crossed the median into the westbound lanes, re-entered the median, hit a bridge abutment, went airborne and landed in a creek.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
