Woman credited for preventing school shooting speaks out

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – It all began when Koeberle Bull says she opened up Facebook to what she calls the worst piece of writing she’s ever seen.

She says Dylan Jarrell called her names and wished her three African American children dead.

Bull reported the harassment claim to Kentucky State Police. Police later found Jarrell with 200 rounds of ammunition and a detailed plan to carry out a shooting at an Anderson County school.

“I have about 300 inbox messages. They’re amazing,” Bull says about the praise she’s received.

While she’s been described as a hero, she says she isn’t.

“I’m just a mom protecting my kids,” says Bull.

Koeberle Bull also encourages anyone that sees a threat on social media to report it.
