Woman charged with human trafficking

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman faces human trafficking charges after police say another woman was busted for prostitution.

31-year-old Vanessa Gordon was taken into custody Tuesday in Lexington.

Court documents say police conducted a prostitution sting and one woman told them Gordon took her identification and social security card and forced her to go on dates with “johns.”

She also says Gordon pocketed all the money from the dates.

Documents say police found the woman’s ID and more than $1,500 in Gordon’s purse.
