Woman charged in murder of her mother faces court proceedings
LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Laurel County woman charged with murder is scheduled to be back in court next week.
According to court records, 26-year-old Brianna Rich is set for a pretrial conference Monday on murder charges.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says Rich is accused of shooting and killing her mother, 46-year-old Carol Rich, at a home on Burnett Road on March 14. Investigators say a gun was found at the scene.
Rich remains held as she awaits further court proceedings.
