Woman Charged In Fatal Robbery Will Go To Grand Jury

A case involving a woman charged in connection with a fatal robbery, in Lexington, was waived to the grand jury Monday.

According to Lexington police, 20-year-old Rodneisha Murphy, of Lexington, admitted to police that she was the one who orchestrated the August 20 robbery that ended in a deadly shootout between the victim, Flacko Lopez, 26, and three other suspects.

Police said, Murphy was not present at the time of the robbery.

Investigators said, 25-year-old Alexander Burdette and two teenagers forced their way into Lopez’s apartment with intentions to take the electronics that were inside.

Lopez was killed, and two of the intruders were hurt during the incident.

Murphy is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center on a first-degree robbery charge.
