Woman carrying .357 pistol charged with public intoxication

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found an intoxicated woman with a holstered .357 pistol kicking and screaming at an ATM after answering a call that she was causing disturbances in two separate businesses.

Investigators say 37-year old Jody Beth Walker told them that meth was the manufacturer of her Adderall, an ADHD medication.  They say she was also dancing throughout a business off the West Cumberland Gap Parkway.

Deputies say she was charged with public intoxication and 1st degree promotion of contraband after they say they found two baggies with a crystal-like substance in her possession when they took her to jail.
