Woman carjacked at knifepoint in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police are searching for a suspect accused of carjacking a woman on Wilderness Road at knifepoint.

Police say a woman was driving on Wilderness Road with a male passenger around 10 p.m. Monday, when that passenger pulled a knife on her.

According to police, she jumped out of the car and ran off, while her passenger drove off in her car.

Police are still searching for the man, who they say may be driving the victim’s white Nissan Altima.
