Woman badly hurt after car hits tree in Scott County

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after the car she was driving went off Lisle Road and hit a tree, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened just before 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the 800 block of Lisle Road, according to deputies.

The woman’s name was not immediately released.

Deputies say the preliminary investigation does not lead them to believe the woman was impaired.
