Woman arrested on drug charges at Laurel County Courthouse
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A woman is facing drug charges after methamphetamine was allegedly found on her at the Laurel County Courthouse.
Deputies say 25-year-old Kristen Bowman was arrested on Monday after a pipe and straw with meth residue were discovered while she was going through a security checkpoint at the Laurel County Judicial Center.
Officials determined that Bowman was under the influence at the time. She is now charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
Bowman is currently being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
